Former members
editWhy are Jason Scheff, Tris Imboden and Keith Howland listed as former members? I have not heard that any of these guys were let go from Chicago. They should be current members. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Collinf (talk • contribs) 2008-04-18
Numbering
editI've numbered the albums in the template. Notes on unnumbered records:
- Live in Japan (1975) was originally released only in Japan; it was not released in the U.S. until 1996.
- If You Leave Me Now (album) is on Chicago's official site, shown between Chicago IX - Chicago's Greatest Hits (1975) and Chicago X (1976), and described as "The import version of the 1976 album": presumably Chicago X that included the song of "If You Leave Me Now". Big Noise doesn't show If You Leave Me Now as an album at all, and explicitly refers to Chicago IX - Chicago's Greatest Hits as Chicago IX.
- Take Me Back to Chicago (1985) appears to be unnumbered the Wikipedia article says "they do not acknowledge it in their official discography".
- Group Portrait is confusing: it's a box set that Chicago's official site claims is from 2001 and Big Noise claims is from 1991. Both of them seem to place its entry between Twenty 1 (1990) and Night & Day Big Band (1995, presumably #22). It's clear that there's no room for Group Portrait unless both volumes of The Heart of Chicago are counted as one item.
I'd like to find an explicit source for the band's album numbering from 22 to 24 and 26 to 29, so that there's no doubt that Group Portrait isn't numbered. --Closeapple (talk) 12:00, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
Walter Parazaider as a former band member
editAs of July 2018, the band has removed Walter Parazaider from the Band Members Page on their official website. Parazaider's name now appears on a separate page on the band's website, Tribute to Founding Members. The Founding Members page lists Parazaider along with other former members Peter Cetera, Terry Kath, and Danny Seraphine. There are sources in the article already about his retirement from touring and of his removal from the list of band members. Because of this, I am undoing recent edits and restoring Parazaider's name as a former member as well as removing his name as an the active member.209.212.21.197 (talk) 19:23, 15 September 2018 (UTC)
