Too thin

edit

I tried changing the size to 1 x 1 em, but it's not working for me. Anyone else not seeing it? Yes I cleared my cache and made subsequent null edits. ←BenB4 03:09, 13 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Merge proposal

edit

I'd like to propose to merge Template:Colorsample and Template:Color box. These two templates serve the same purpose, but the look is slightly different. I would like to know how others think about the merge and which one should be left. eDenE 03:01, 2 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oppose: The color box allows text inside and is inline with the text. The Colorsample template is not exactly "out of line" with the text, but it isn't completely inline. A color box, on the other hand, breaks the flow of the text. The two have distinct uses, and, hence, shouldn't be merged. Graham (talk, contrib, SIGN HERE!!!) 20:43, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Oppose per Graham. Seems that the two are not identical or close enough to arbitratily merge. bahamut0013 17:57, 25 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's been almost five months, and no obvious decision. I've removed the merge templates. RossPatterson (talk) 03:49, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Dark mode

edit

@पाटलिपुत्र: Do you have an example article as you reverted the change that made this work with the dark mode gadget. —Locke Coletc 05:41, 29 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Locke Cole:! Yes, for example the map caption in Saka or the captions in Seima-Turbino culture and many others. I reverted because the color patches were thrown upwards out of alignement following your changes, while the original dark mode treatment did not strike me as problematic. I wouldn't object if you could find a way to make your dark mode changes, while keeping the alignment. Best! पाटलिपुत्र (Pataliputra) (talk) 05:56, 29 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Should be resolved, let me know if you notice anything else. Feel free to revert back if you do! Thanks you. =) —Locke Coletc 15:38, 29 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
