Istrian Y

Should Istrian Y be listed as B8 and B9 among expressways within the template instead of future motorways? It is true that they are future motorways too, but that applies to nearly all expressways, apart from D424 and urban expressways. Of course A8 and A9 should be retained as future motorways and moved to motorways when so warranted by actual conditions of the roads. --Tomobe03 (talk) 20:52, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

Since a part of the A9 (Pula-Kanfanar) is now in use as a completed motorway, I propose moving the A9 to motorways. A part of the route is not completed, but neither are A1, A2 and A7 completely finished yet they qualify as motorways. Similarly the A11 comprises one complete section (even though it is short it is twice as long as the A10 is ever going to be). Rehash?

Since the A8 and A9 are no longer expressways, and the remaining specified routes (D1, D28, D424, D425, D522, D533) are not actually defined as expressways and possibly represent borderline WP:OR I propose that this template be reworked into something similar to Template:Autobahn system in Austria.
