editSeems excessive to include one film, as controversial as it was. I would remove it. Comments? Alientraveller (talk) 20:06, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
Talpiot Tomb
editI would remove the reference to the Talpiot Tomb, because it is a fringe theory, rejected by the overwhelming majority of scholars. No important scholar of the historical Jesus mentions it, either Christian (John P. Meier, James Dunn), jewish (Géza Vermes) and atheist (Maurice Casey, Bart D. Ehrman). The only important scholar supporting such theory is James Tabor, who is a known supporter of fringe theories, rejected by the scholar consensus.--Karma1998 (talk) 12:06, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
- Similarly, Roza Bal should be removed, because the links to Jesus are completely unfounded, and based on hoax-books. I think that while some the important fringe theories could be kept, the retention of the more obscure fringe theories in a prominent and widely used template is WP:UNDUE. - I am removing Talpiot Tomb and Roza Bal, because they are examples of lost body/stolen body and swoon hypotheses respectively. The Discoverer (talk) 06:08, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
