To amplify on my edit summary listing Paul McGann in this section is confusing to me. No matter what venue - radio, webcast etc - he is still portraying his version of the Dr. as seen in the TV movie. He is not the only actor to have reprsied his role in a venue other than TV, Jon Pertwee and Colin Baker were in the stage play "The Ultimate Adventure" but I wouldn't add them to this section either. I just wanted to give you my reasoning for the change that I made so let me offer my apologies if I have caused offense. I think you have done a good job in creating this template so congratulations and cheers. MarnetteD | Talk 17:38, 3 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ian Brooker

Whoever this is, and in whatever context he played the Doctor, I presume he's not the Australian botanist whom the template links to? Phil PH (talk) 10:37, 18 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

...OK, I know who he is now. I'm not entirely sure it's worth going to the levels of completeness involved in listing him here, though. Phil PH (talk) 10:42, 18 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

John Hurt

... has been introduced at the end of The Name of the Doctor as the Doctor, and in written caption, so I think he should go in the list. Later on we will know how he fits chronologically. Hektor (talk) 14:43, 30 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

We do not yet know if he is "The Doctor" or a different character who has the same name. We should wait until we know something definite. MarnetteD | Talk 14:56, 30 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

"The Doctor"

Shouldn't John Hurt, the Valeyard Michael Jayston (as the Master calls him the Doctor), the Dream Lord Toby Jones (as the Doctor calls him himself), the Watcher Adrian Gibbs (as the Doctor says), all be listed? -- 76.65.128.222 (talk) 12:53, 6 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

They're linked as Other actors who have played the Doctor. DonQuixote (talk) 13:22, 6 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
