Template talk:Dukes of Cornwall

Shoudn't Prince Charles, the current incumbent, be on this list? --Jfruh (talk) 16:28, 4 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

HRH The Duke of Cornwall is on this list... DBD 13:35, 5 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oh! I see ... it's no the most ... obvious way of setting it up, I guess. One expects him to be in the same list as the others... --Jfruh (talk) 14:05, 5 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Why is Edward Tudor (I) on the list when he was stillborn? 195.137.79.247 20:41, 22 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Charles James

edit

The first son of Charles I, Charles James, b. and d. 18 May 1629[1] is in Template:Dukes of Rothesay but not this one. Did he survive birth or not? Opera hat (talk) 13:50, 21 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Edward of Westminster, Prince of Wales - dates as Duke

edit

Edward of Westminster, Prince of Wales is listed as 1453-1471. However his claim to the Dukedom was arguably not recognised in 1460, when Richard of York, 3rd Duke of York was granted the title, marked here as disputed, and between 1461 and 1470 (and arguably at the time of his death in 1471) his claim was at best doubtful given his father had been deposed as King. Thus like Richard's "disputed" should this not somehow be reflected in the template? Dunarc (talk) 23:42, 12 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
