Notes
editTemplate is a copyright violation of a template from the Orthodox Wiki. Image is already tagged for speedy deletion. -- Pastordavid 20:54, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
Derived with permission from Template:Orthodoxyinamerica at OrthodoxWiki. OrthodoxWiki copyright policy changed on 11/22/05 to be compatible with Wikipedia. The version of the page this article is derived from was created before that date but all users editing the page there (at least up to this version) before 11/22/05 have agreed to retroactively relicense their contributions, except for one user who ultimately made no change to the page at all. Name changes
editI agree with the recent name changed caried out by User:Secisek, but I would like to establish a bit more consensus before I continue with those changes. Is there support for renaming and re-purposing all the artilces in the this template from "America" (vauge) to "the Americas," which is well defined? --Kevlar (talk • contribs) 01:26, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
Standardization
editI've converted this template to use {{sidebar}}
at User:Anon126/Sandbox/Template:Orthodoxyinamerica. I wanted to get some input on it before moving it into the main template. Anon126 (notify me of responses! / talk / contribs) 01:40, 1 March 2015 (UTC)

The "File:ByzantineCross.svg" should be portrayed here instead of the Russian Orthodox Cross, as, after all, most Eastern Orthodox Churches and believers in North American do not primarily use or identify with the Russian Orthodox Cross. 2A02:214C:8611:8C00:E9D3:52A5:DB24:9BAD (talk) 04:02, 14 February 2022 (UTC)
- I was going to deny this with a {{ESp|c}}, but instead I'll just work on that "c", by !voting Oppose as the three bar cross is more recognizable as "orthodoxy". Also, I am North American, and even if I wasn't Wikipedia is an international project. Happy Editing--IAmChaos 05:15, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
