I have just spent 30 minutes searching. I can not find anything. Mary's wikipedia page says she got married 5 years before his birth, and I cannot find any indication that they ever divorced. I must presume that they are still married. Was Atwater adopted? Nick Beeson (talk) 12:35, 18 September 2017 (UTC)

Fernando Echavarría-Uribe

Fernando Echavarría-Uribe is the father of Adriana Echavarría. He and Anne Eisenhower married in November 1968. They were divorced by the 1980s, when she re-married. bd2412 T 20:20, 16 June 2019 (UTC)

• @Adavidb: - would you be able to do this? I have added references to the article. In fact, I'm wondering if this template can be divided into a short form template of just Eisenhower and his immediate descendants to the third generation (eliminating the current bottom line), and a long form template including everything here and also adding Eisenhower's parents, David Jacob Eisenhower (1863–1942) and Ida Stover Eisenhower (1862–1946). bd2412 T 18:08, 28 June 2019 (UTC)

I've added Echavarría-Uribe to the tree. Adding Eisenhower's parents shouldn't be a problem, to be done later. I don't think adding a related template and stopping at the third generation will be a problem. Any suggestions on a name for such a 'short form' template? —ADavidB 01:49, 29 June 2019 (UTC)

That would add some complexity, and goes beyond my everyday knowledge/use level, but I consider it doable without too much time or effort. Which version (long or short) would you expect to be the default if no parameter is given? —ADavidB 03:07, 29 June 2019 (UTC)

The template is updated to display only to the third generation of descendents by default. Adding 'switch' rather than 'ifeq' parser functions made the updates much easier than anticipated. The template still needs documentation about an "extended" parameter to display tree entries for Eisenhower's parents and fourth generation of descendents, and to display that version when viewed directly; I plan to add this within the next day or so. —ADavidB 07:07, 29 June 2019 (UTC)
