Which category does it belong in?
Trim down, focus
editUh, isn't the template a bit a large and unfocused? In my not so humble opionion, oversized theme ring boxes are by now the trademrak of enwiki, we can try to do better!
Remember, that for everything about electric motors there is category:electric motors, so the navbox should have some well specified purpose other than that.
I for one dislike to mix grouping by design with grouping by application, or to mix important core articles with curiousities. Also the main components of a specific electric motor design can be reached by ye olde hyperlinks in the article prose.

- In past few years, the template has become a lot more focused and, in my view, useful. Great way to concentrate many links about a broad, generic topic such as electric motors.Cblambert (talk) 06:38, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
