The vast majority of party templates order parties by their strength in a suitable organ ({{British political parties}}, {{German political parties}}, {{Russian political parties}}, etc). This conveys the order that reliable sources will usually order the parties: starting with the most significant. For example, almost all discussions of the AECR (or ECR) will begin by discussing the British Conservatives, followed by Law and Justice and the Civic Democrats, and then the minor parties. This should be reflected on Wikipedia, per WP:NPOV. Bastin 21:13, 4 December 2011 (UTC)
