Notes
editAdded former businesses section, moved Happy Eater and Berni Inn into this section.
Up for debate - if coffee houses get their own section under food chains of the UK, then surely chain pubs should get one too? Otherwise, perhaps, for example, Wetherspoon's would be eligible for inclusion in the casual dining section,as they do a wide range of food. After all, Wetherspoon's has more of a claim to being a food chain than for example, Starbucks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.139.66.8 (talk) 10:47, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Same poster as all of above; have added Gloria Jean's and Beard Papa's. They can be found at the Leicester Highcross development at the very least. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Farrtj (talk • contribs) 17:12, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Actually Gloria Jean's seem to be popping up all over the place now, and there are a few Beard Papa's.
Also added Quizno's.
And Quick.

"Tea Room"
editIsn't "tea room" a bit too US? Surely "tea-shop"! Deipnosophista (talk) 09:01, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
- Betty's describes itself as a "tea room", and that's about as English as you get! Farrtj (talk) 19:52, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
Removed Outback Steakhouse
editI've removed Outback Steakhouse as I believe it no longer operates in the UK (as would seem to be confirmed by outback.com's list of international locations here). I realise it may have some historical value, but its past UK operations are not mentioned at the target (nearest being "locations in Europe"), if some info were added we could of course always add it back in here.
A pity since I like these restaurants when I lived in the US. Si Trew (talk) 07:42, 17 October 2014 (UTC)
