Francophone not French Republic symbolism?
editThe image used in this template for the French language is the flag of the French Republic, not the French language. Clearly, this flag is not a symbol of the world communities who use French even as a first language such as in Belgium, Switzerland, Canada and so on.
Could someone find the image for the Francophonie symbol and adapt it to this template? --CJ Withers 20:54, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- Good point. Done! Xander 01:51, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia:IPA for French
editI added a link to the article Wikipedia:IPA for French to the template. It is succinct and perhaps much more useful for Wikipédiens than the link to the appropriately verbose, complex, and lengthy French phonology article. I believe its addition is very beneficial. Bien amicalement. Charvex (talk) 07:35, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
