Music -> Audio
[edit]Unless we want two separate fields for audio and music we should rename "Music" to "Audio" so that TTS models can be added. Seems like ignoring TTS is a mistake as that is arguably much bigger than music. J2UDY7r00CRjH (talk) 17:01, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
Including only links with significant coverage
[edit]Hi @Unis Tankos, thanks for maintaining the template. I believe that entries should only be included in the navbox if they have a dedicated article (see WP:NAV-RELATED), or if there is at least significant content on it in the linked article. For instance, "Seedream" is currently pointing to ByteDance, which doesn't have content on Seedream. There are a lot of generative AI models, and we can't be exhaustive; including only the models that have a dedicated article helps keep it focused on the most notable ones. Cheers. Redundancy and overlap
[edit]Regarding this edit, all of the removed articles are also in Template:OpenAI, where they make more sense. Since this template is intended to be a broad overview of the entire topic of 'generative AI', selectively highlighted these micro-articles about specific commercial products is disproportionate and redundant. Grayfell (talk) 00:39, 24 April 2026 (UTC)
Regarding this edit, most of this was to remove links which were either redundant or not directly about linked topic. Far too much of this template overlaps with Template:Artificial intelligence navbox in a way which makes both of them much less useful. One step to fixing this is to avoid WP:EGGs. For example, make sure every link in the 'chatbot' section is to an article about a chatbot, instead of linking to a redirect to a single sentence in an article about a company which markets a chatbot.
Another approach would be to focus on the existing list articles. List of chatbots, for example, is linked, but includes a lot of chatbots which aren't in this template, and this template includes chatbots which aren't in that article. Instead of cramming company product article minutia into an already swollen template, the goal is to arrange this information so it's helpful to readers. Grayfell (talk) 01:08, 24 April 2026 (UTC)
Adding a new company to the navigation template
[edit]| This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
I have a conflict of interest regarding Invisible Technologies, so I'm requesting this edit rather than making it myself. The company page has been accepted through AfC and it appears to fit the same category as Scale AI, which is already included. I believe so because Bloomberg names Invisible as one of Scale AI's main competitors.
So, I propose the following update:
* [[Inflection AI]]
* [[Invisible Technologies]]
Would an uninvolved editor please consider adding Invisible to the template in alphabetical order, immediately after Inflection AI? Alexandra Goncharik -sms- 17:12, 6 August 2026 (UTC)
Done. I see that it was involved in ChatGPT training. WeyerStudentOfAgrippa (talk) 23:54, 7 August 2026 (UTC)
Please provide the LLM model that the company is primarily responsible for and/or does work with. When ready to proceed with the requested information, kindly change the {{Edit COI}} template's answer parameter to read from |ans=y to |ans=n. Thank you! Regards, Spintendo 20:59, 6 August 2026 (UTC)
