Removed "Winged Helmets"
editRemoved "winged helmets" as part of the equipment since they do not differ from regular helmets in any way but the paint. Violates neutrality by promoting one (major) teams helmet over others. 75.185.5.127 (talk)
Nose guard or Nose tackle
editI just merged Nose tackle into Nose guard while cleaning up the merge backlog. This template links to Nose Tackle, which is now a redirect to Nose guard. Not sure if it would be best to change the template or the name of the Nose Guard article. AIRcorn (talk) 07:01, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
Plans for American Football Articles
editI am working on the templates for American football, please be patient while I try to streamline the football article organization. Thanks VictorianMutant (talk) 04:49, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
- It's probably better to discuss your changes first. You can work on the template in your userspace, then present it for discussion as a finished work. Thanks. - BilCat (talk) 04:56, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, started the discussion here. VictorianMutant (talk) 07:01, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
Formation types
editJust curious how many different articles are there on formation types, because that could be a separate section unto itself. DandyDan2007 (talk) 12:53, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
Getting lengthy
edit@MisterCake: I think this is one of the largest navboxes I've ever seen. Maybe we should make penalties into a separate navbox, since that section seems to be eating up the most real estate. Then it can be subdivided into 5-, 10-, and 15- yard penalties. Or personal/team fouls etc. Lizard (talk) 02:46, 3 December 2016 (UTC)
- It's at that stage between many useful ones and one gigantic one. Would be fine with that. Cake (talk) 03:45, 3 December 2016 (UTC)
