Still needs expanding to prior 1983, adding this section, in case I forget. It should stop when the articles largely do, and if possible merge the earlier sets if few articles exist. DankJae21:11, 8 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Maybe I'm being a bit thick, but if a constituency is still current is it "historic"? This template seems to list current constituencies ...which have their own template, after all. Sionk (talk) 12:11, 19 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
When I made the template I called it “historic and proposed” in the title so somewhere the 2024 ones can be put before the election was eventually called and 2024 ones now classed as “current”. Now I changed the other template to the 2024 ones they can be removed here. I assume the 2010 ones can now be considered “historic” unless that’s what you mean by current.
Thanks, I was otherwise disposed yesterday evening. To be honest I would have expected something similar to the London template, for "Historic constituencies in Wales". It seems to have quite a confusing remit at the moment. Maybe you could list former constituences by the date(s) they were abolished/superseded? Sionk (talk) 09:00, 20 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Mind you, the London template is quite confusing, it seems to start by listing constituencies according to the dates they were created, then changes to list constituencies contested at each recent change of government... Sionk (talk) 10:05, 20 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Sionk, I just chose the dates of the first election following each boundary review, and the next election serves as the former's end date.
