Hypothetical superfamilies

edit

Indo-Hittite isn't so much a "hypothetical subfamily" as a hypothetical superfamily, and should maybe be listed separately. dab () 07:13, 16 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

This goes double for Indo-Uralic, and including it while leaving out other external relationship proposals seems slightly POV really. --Trɔpʏliʊmblah 15:11, 1 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Balto-Slavic

edit

Although Balto-Slavic is, strictly speaking, a hypothetical IE subfamily, including it here with subgroupings that do not enjoy widespread support is misleading. Except for a few nationalists who don't understand or care about linguistics, Balto-Slavic is about as widely accepted among Indo-Europeanists as Indo-Iranian, which I notice is not on this list. Therefore, I'm removing it from the template (just as the template has already been removed from the article Balto-Slavic languages). Alternatively, Indo-Iranian could be added to the template. —Angr 14:33, 16 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Use Navbox

edit

Why not use Navbox template?
