This template is broken. I still see the IP message even when I am logged in. — B. L. I. R. 02:55, 27 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

@B. L. I. R., you might want to post this at Wikipedia:Village pump (technical) (including your skin etc.). Qwerfjkltalk 06:14, 27 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
It's still working for me, too. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 18:21, 27 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
I created a new section on VPT less than an hour ago about this template. — B. L. I. R. 05:16, 28 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Fixed, didn't know CSS transclusion hacks shouldn't occur on your common.css page. — B. L. I. R. 11:03, 28 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

IP message when logged in

edit

Hello! I'm using the same template in my homewiki (SqWiki) for a page but I see the IP version of the page even though I'm logged in. I read above that CSS got to do with it but I'm not sure how so I don't know how to fix it. Can someone help me? - Klein Muçi (talk) 11:19, 8 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Klein Muçi, it uses class="anonymous-show" and class="user-show". Presumably elements within the tags are shown or hidden depending on the user rights of the viewer (with some js or css). ― Qwerfjkltalk 15:27, 8 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Qwerfjkl, hmm... I emptied all my common.CSS page and it still says I'm not logged in and serves me the IP version. :/ - Klein Muçi (talk) 15:37, 8 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Klein Muçi, I mean the site js/css. ― Qwerfjkltalk 16:20, 8 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Qwerfjkl, we literally have the same code in those as in EnWiki. But here it works for me and there it doesn't. That's strange. :/ - Klein Muçi (talk) 18:05, 8 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
After @Xaosflux's help, it turns out we were missing MediaWiki:Group-user.css in our wiki. That solved it. :) - Klein Muçi (talk) 00:25, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for this comment, I had the same problem on arywiki. :) -- Ideophagous (talk) 15:37, 22 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
