Superscripts for ordinals
editThis template uses superscripts for ordinals and the Manual of Style at MOS:ORDINAL says "Ordinal suffixes (st, nd, rd, th) are not superscripted (123rd and 496th, not 123rd nor 496th)." Also frequently the currentordinal parameter will be updated but super is not and that creates errors. I know some templates automatically assign ordinal suffixes to numbers, but I'm not template literate, so I have no idea what is involved in doing that. - Done. I will update the documentation next. -- John of Reading (talk) 18:47, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
- Would it be possible to make the template assign the ordinal suffix automatically rather than call the "super" parameter? Often the number is updated but the suffix is not and that creates an error such as a change from "4th" to "3th". SchreiberBike | ⌨ 23:49, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
- Already done My edit made that change too. -- John of Reading (talk) 08:02, 15 March 2015 (UTC)
- Impressive. Shows how much I don't know about code. Thank you. SchreiberBike | ⌨ 03:23, 17 March 2015 (UTC)
