I went ahead and WP:BOLDly made a few changes to the template:

• I removed a few aliases that weren't used anywere ("rating", "cite_for", and "cite_as")
• I removed "misc" and "audio caption" in favor of using {{Listen}} as a module. When I looked at actual transclusions, this was more common (only two transclusions did it the misc/audio caption way), and has the advantage of being clearly extensible, and in line with what other infoboxes with audio samples do. Parameters called "misc" have a tendency to attract random garbage, which indeed happened.
• I added unknown-parameter tracking.

Single release date

For a podcast released all at once, how do you format the date so that it's not date – same date? Just the one, without the hyphen? Eievie (talk) 06:57, 14 November 2021 (UTC)

URL display error

Asking how and why URLs cannot be displayed in the infobox of a podcast, such as WTF with Marc Maron. The article for the podcast has a URL parameter filled out appropriately yet, despite attempted adjustments nothing seems to work. Carlinal (talk) 19:41, 20 February 2024 (UTC)

Past hosts

Is there a defined way of listing past hosts of a Podcast in the info box, in a similar manner to the "past_members" option on the "Infobox musical artist" template. For example, Kate Mason and Jules Breach are both former hosts of the The Football Ramble, so would be good to show that rather than them being listed under the current hosts.
