Comment/data year
editIn the fake table I see "data year =", but in the field explication and in the template I find "comment". Which is the correct field? (Btw, if there is some wikilink to example, it would be nice). Cate 14:14, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- "comments" is correct; "data year" was a field proposed and removed during the template's development. For examples, see Oregon wine and Willamette Valley AVA. --EngineerScotty 15:30, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- can we add a 'yield' (hl / bottles) field to the box ? Kudpung (talk) 05:28, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
Coordinates?
editWould it be helpful to include geographic coordinates in this template (which would also allow the use of mediawiki mapping software), or should the coordinates appear elsewhere in the article? --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 16:24, 29 October 2011 (UTC)
Total Area in miles?
editShould area be in square miles/kilometres rather than miles/kilometres?
Use with political divisions
editIs this exclusively to be used for wine regions (like AVAs) or is it appropriate for U.S. states. I am presently working on New Jersey wine and find the infobox to be rather not-functional with the content of the page...it seems to give more information on the state than on the wine production. --ColonelHenry (talk) 21:12, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
