10th & Main Transit Plaza icons
editthe building icon serves no purpose. it's not showing a special feature at that location. the entry is for a transit center
the bike and bus icons are being changed to the standard models for transit lines. they were that originally and got changed. it also places them in line with the other icons for consistency

- Pinging Useddenim to give Useddenim a chance to explain the choice of icons at the 10th & Main Transit Plaza entry in the route map. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 15:59, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
- Flyingember, 165.221.88.90 et al.: Since the 10th & Main Transit Plaza isn't actually on the Kansas City Downtown Streetcar line and doesn't have it's own dedicated stop, it's entirely appropriate to show it as an offline structure and use smaller icons for the connections and facilities there. if that's what it's for, you're missing an icon http://www.kcata.org/maps_schedules/multimodal_center_for_3rd_and_grand this multimodal center/park and ride is as close to a stop as the one at 10th and Main is. inconsistency creates confusion of purpose — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.221.114.244 (talk) 13:09, September 2, 2015 (UTC)
Revised map
editThe diagram has encompassed a large number of notable features downtown. They are all transit and walking-centric additions. I added an entire transit center at a stop and two pedestrian pathways that are the easiest route to key destinations. Also, as the building icon is a key location or transit center, then 5-8 (can argue importance) of that icon will need to be added along the line. The high number compared to the number of stops is why this icon should be left off. It just adds noise. --flyingember — Preceding comment added by 165.221.114.244 (talk) 17:14, September 2, 2015 (UTC)
- Well, now it is probably overly-detailed. Far worse is that the route map is now too wide again, which you ignored in your reversion of my reversion (which, incidentally, is a violation of WP:BRD). The map needs to be trimmed down to its former width so it can fit reasonably inside an infobox again. Finally, if IP 165.221.114.244 is Flyingember, then you forgot to sign in Flyingember, and you need to start doing that before editing from now on, lest you be accused of "WP:Socking". --IJBall (contribs • talk) 17:36, 2 September 2015 (UTC)
do you have a non-subjective issue? is the map wrong in any way? -flyingember — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.221.114.244 (talk) 18:20, 2 September 2015 (UTC)
- You have two different editors objecting to your changes. You clearly don't have WP:Consensus for these changes. You need to convince the rest of us that your changes have merit. So far you've made no attempt to persuade us. You might want to try that first. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 19:28, 2 September 2015 (UTC)
Union Station Stop
editThe official map shows Union Station as a stop on one side only. The map should be the same.
As stops show which direction a stop takes a person, offloading is irrelevant, showing that the stop on the west side takes people northbound is appropriate

- If you're trying to claim a WP:RS, then use a valid link. (The one you supplied gives the error message
502 Bad Gateway nginx/1.9.10
.) - Route diagram icons do not differentiate between drop-off only and regular stops (that is something that would be noted in the text), so your argument is specious.
- If you are going to indicate a uni-directional stop at the end of the line, then use the correct icon:
- Interesting – the kcstreetcar.org website was working as of 1 or 2 days ago. Either it's down for maintenance (or project updates), or they're going to move it somewhere else. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 02:34, 17 February 2016 (UTC)
Expansion
editStop locations for the two expansions have not been defined but the route and parts of town it will pass through is known. --Flyingember (talk) 17:07, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
Union Station is Open
editThe Union Station stop is a single sided stop offloading SB traffic and loading NB traffic using a one-way crossover to change sides It will be upgraded to two stops with the expansion but it is fully operational today. the open circle, no service, stop is inappropriate. The best icon to show this stop today would be the single sided reverse service stop but some people have issues with using this icon too but I would argue it's a better choice
in terms of expansion the end of service bar no longer makes sense to use because showing the design with expansion that won't be true.
