Bengali => Bangla
editI am having a request of edit of the lang-bn template/tag to display "Bangla" instead of "Bengali". as Bangla is the most common name and more used word than the word Bengali. Thank you. বব২৬ (talk) 05:50, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
- Bengali is the English word for the language which calls itself Bengali: বাংলা. শুভ নববর্ষ ১৪২২Bengali new year | nafSadh did say 17:41, 16 April 2015 (UTC)

Kindly include the parameters, links and lit as in {{Language with name|de|German|''{{{1}}}''|links={{{links|{{{link|yes}}}}}}|lit={{{lit|}}}}}.— harith (talk) 11:29, 28 September 2015 (UTC)

Please replace the contents of this template with the contents of the sandbox, to which I have added |lit={{{lit|}}}
, which adds an option to include a literal translation. This makes this template consistent with the template’s documentation following this proposal for the parameter's inclusion. Thank you, Ry's the Guy (talk|contribs) 09:23, 16 October 2015 (UTC)
- Not done: The template already has "lit". Alakzi (talk) 20:01, 17 October 2015 (UTC)

Please replace the contents of this template with the contents of the sandbox (revision 736477566), which I have converted to use Template:Language with name and transliteration (like Template:Lang-pa and some others), allowing passing transliteration into the template, as well as the parameters User:Rystheguy added back in October. Thanks! — OwenBlacker (Talk) 19:43, 27 August 2016 (UTC)
- @OwenBlacker: Corrected a typo. Changes look fine, but is a tracking category necessary? (Just a question) — Andy W. (talk · ctb) 19:56, 27 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Andy M. Wang: No, but I'll leave that conversation on Template talk:Lang-be rather than having it here as well :D — OwenBlacker (Talk) 20:02, 27 August 2016 (UTC)
- Done and see Template talk:Lang-be. Ping if there are any issues — Andy W. (talk · ctb) 20:10, 27 August 2016 (UTC)
