Template talk:Main articles
I think we should use the template from the Template:Main page and use the parameters here.
- Main article: [[{{{1}}}]]

- Yes, I agree. Someone please change it. --Khoikhoi 05:26, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
No, this template uses site- and user-configurable CSS classes. There is no need to match any other template. -- Netoholic @ 07:36, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- Well is there any way to get rid of the extra padding? --Khoikhoi 07:38, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- Didn't I just say that? -- Netoholic @ 07:48, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- You said there's a way, but you didn't say how. --Khoikhoi 07:50, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
Some Main2 templates still on articles
editMaralinga, South Australia was one. There are probably others needing fixing but I do not know how to find them. -- Paul foord 13:49, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
TfD debate
editThis template survived a debate at TfD. See Wikipedia:Templates for deletion/Log/2006 February 26. -Splashtalk 02:50, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
Indention difference
editThis template is indented less than {{main}}, which makes it inconsistent in articles that use both. Either this gets indented more, or main gets indented less. Bloodshedder 05:30, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
- This one also had an embedded <p> tag which made paragraph formatting different. I just changed it to be more like the main article template. Please test and let me know what you think. Just another star in the night T | @ | C 21:55, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
TfD again?
editHaving looked at the TfD debate, it seems to me that this template is redundant now we have a multiple-argument version of {{Main}}, so the arguments that stopped it being deleted before no longer apply. Hairy Dude 15:28, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
Cleaning with AWB
editI'm moving them over now some. If you want to help, using AWB, paste this in the proper place in your settings file:
(Edit this page to copy/paste code. It's in here, really.)
It works real well, up to 4 items listed. It doesn't like when they use renaming pipes, you need to fix that by hand. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 00:38, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
