Its hard to believe a template could be so developed without having a talk page. Could some editors please speak up why a "Mike Patton" template is needed versus merely linking to the main Mike Patton article? WP:SOAP comes to mind. Spectre9 (talk) 06:02, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
- Templates are fairly common across Wikipedia, especially among artists that have released such a variety of work and have so many assorted articles. For example, see Template:Stephen King or Template:Metallica. It's basically like a category but much more organized and fits well as a navigational aid at the bottom of each related page.
