Accuracy of content

edit

As creator of this template, I am requesting people to help make the template more accurate in its content. I created the list based on the information provided from Wikipedia itself; so I can't determine its accuracy. Angcr (talk) 12:59, 12 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Chongqing (the city and the municipality)

edit

31 mln of inhabitants in Chongqing means in the "municipality" (district), composed with lot of towns, villages, cities, and Chongqing (City) proper, who is inhabited by 4,100,000 people. Also note that Chongqing Municipality (82,300 km²) is great as Austria (83,872 km²). So, IMHO, it could be also necessary to create another page, about the district. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.11.22.233 (talk) 23:23, 6 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

A city of 4 million does not consider populous and a big city? Either that or i'm getting the wrong idea of what you're trying to imply here. Also, as stated by the creator of this template, the information may need some upgrading. --LLTimes (talk) 03:56, 12 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Where is Hefei?

edit

Our article on Hefei says:

Hefei has an area of 11,434.25 km2 (4,414.79 sq mi) and, at the 2015 sampling survey, a population of 7,790,000 inhabitants, 5,484,000 of whom are urban.

Cities listed on this template reach down to Zhengzhou, with a population of only 3,677,000, but Hefei does not appear. Why not? —Mark Dominus (talk) 15:42, 24 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

The numbers in the template are inconsistent with the ones given in the article. The template says that the population of Zhengzhou is 3,677,000, but our article on Zhengzhou says “Zhengzhou has a population of 9,378,000 inhabitants with an urban population of 6,406,000.” I tried to get authoritative figures from the Chinese census online documents but I was not successful. —Mark Dominus (talk) 22:43, 11 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
