Earlier this year, the NCBI site transitioned to HTTPS. As an example, accessing the URL http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK1450/ generates a 301 Moved Permanently redirect to an HTTPS version of the URL. (According to the page about the transition to HTTPS, HTTP URLs will be automatically redirected to HTTPS.) Using HTTPS for the link in the template should provide increased privacy and security for users. Please change http:// in the template source to https:// instead.
