Noinclude category?
editThis template is used in {{Rome landmarks}}. It includes the Category:Italian navigational boxes in the articles where it is used. What's wrong? -- Petri Krohn 03:40, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- By using the cat parameter, the category that should've been <noinclude>d after the template was given as a category to <includeonly> wherever the template is used. (Personally, I think such parameters might best be deprecated, as they "hide" categories within template pages.) Have just amended, David Kernow (talk) 16:44, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
Merge with Template:Navigation
editI do not see much "use" for this template. Template:Navigation is doing the same thing and an image can be easily included to that example. -- Cat chi? 21:25, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
- Actually I believe almost all navigational root templates should be replaced by {{Navbox generic}}. See Wikipedia talk:Navigational templates#Style guideline for footer templates. --ChoChoPK (球球PK) (talk | contrib) 07:06, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
Optionally add two images ?
editWould anyone mind if this template was modified to allow for two images to be added (adding, for example, optional arguments "imageleft" and "imageright") ? Schutz 15:36, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
- No objection, so I added it. It is probably not done it the prettiest way, but it seem to work with a imageleft parameter. I have modified Template:World Heritage Sites in Switzerland as an example. Schutz 12:35, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Template accessibility
editThis template isn't expanded by default, and when Javascript isn't enabled it isn't possible to see template body.
Is adding
... | style = "display: inline" ...
acceptable workaround? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.196.89.232 (talk) 14:51, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, this is bad. However, {{Navbox generic}} shows the content by default if js is disabled. --ChoChoPK (球球PK) (talk | contrib) 08:54, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
