Please consider replacing the current code about To the uploader with
|below={{#ifeq:{{{image_has_rationale|{{{image has rationale}}}}}}|yes|<includeonly>[[Category:Non-free images with NFUR stated]]</includeonly>|{{imbox
| type = notice
| image = [[File:Ambox warning blue.svg|50px|alt=Attention|link=]]
| style = background:#d3edfd;
|text = '''To the uploader''':
# Please add a detailed '''[[Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline|fair use rationale]]''' for each use, as well as the '''source''' of the work and copyright information.
# This tag should only be used for video covers.
<br />''' To patrollers and administrators''': If this image has an 'appropriate' rationale please append <code><nowiki>|image has rationale=yes</nowiki></code> as a parameter to the license template.
}}<includeonly>[[Category:Non-free images for NFUR review]]</includeonly> }}
which enables the NFUR status to be tracked. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:46, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
- Done. That's an improvement, thanks; I tested it at File:Singing Detective Poster.jpg. In case you wish to use this text again elsewhere, please note that I made 2 spelling corrections (replicated above). I also moved the suggestion of a specific FUR template into the message box, and then moved your #2 up to #1; these are not replicated above. – Fayenatic London 19:20, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks - Can you consider updating other templates in a simmilar vein? - I've done most of the unprotected ones,
but the big ones like book covers and so on still need to be done... I can;t edit these as I am not able to edit protected pages. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:45, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

As far as I can tell, the change to this template made by SchuminWeb on November 19 was never discussed, and thus there was no consensus for it established. This makes it a Bold edit. I would like to take the next step in WP:BRD and Revert it, but I cannot, since I am not an admin. Therefore I request that an admin revert SchuminWeb's edit of November 19. Thanks. Please update from the sandbox which moves {{Non-free media}} into the imbox, this allows license metadata to be properly emitted because the imbox is set to type license, which sets class licensetpl
to the imbox, however {{Non-free media}} was not placed in the imbox so the metadata was not being detected. Dylsss(talk contribs) 23:25, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
