Encyclopedia articles should be thorough

I'm not worried about the "Red-tailed hawk" article being "too long to read comfortably" at 19,000 words. I'm worried about the idea of birds being considered of "low importance" and other animal and plant articles being so pathetically inadequate. I've seen a lot of articles in the general category of natural history that I could improve, myself, and I wasn't even a biology major at college. We need more informative content about animals, plants, even rocks, on Wikipedia. 19,000 words is better than 90 words.

(And I don't want to receive e-mail, thanks.) 216.145.95.208 (talk) 23:06, 23 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
