Protection level change

Can you please point me to the ANI discussion to change protection level.—Markles 15:57, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

It's here. Basically, a report was generated showing unprotected templates that were highly transcluded, and a couple of admins then mass-protected them. Consensus at ANI appears to be that templates should follow general protection policy, and only be protected when necessary. TFOWR 16:04, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
