- Regis, Czarina Valerie A. and Allan B. de Guzman. "A system within a system: the Philippine schools overseas." Educational Research for Policy and Practice. July 2006, Volume 5, Issue 2, pp 175-183. Published online on September 9, 2006.
On the first page this source says there were 40 Philippine schools: countries included Bahrain, China, Greece, Kuwait, Libya, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. p. 177 says that 3/4ths of the 40 schools represented by the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) (as of February 2006) are in Saudi Arabia.
