I'm not an expert, but wouldn't it be in keeping with Thai custom to list the PMs by first name, not family name? 66.59.184.189 (talk) 15:34, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Wholeheartedly agree. As a Thai myself, a lot of names quoted there did not quite ring a bell until I match the PMs' first names with the family names appeared in the template. Worse, sometimes this box referes not to family names at all, but to (truncated) last part of a title, which is meaningless to Thai history students. The first Pm of Thailand after 1932 coup is an aristocrat with a title of Phya Manopakorn Nititada, or Manopakornnitithada. It's one title coming together in a chunk like that. However, Thai people of that time would refer to him using shortened version of his title as Phya Manopakorn, or even Phya Mano. "Nitithada" is not is surname, and it's equally absurd to call him either "nitithada" or "Pakornnitithada", i.e. - what's left out of either version of the shortened title. No-one in Thailand would ever understand you triy to refer to the first PM if just just mention the name "Nitithada". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.0.3.123 (talk) 09:36, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
