Add "** Paris, France Paris" in between the Jupiter and Japanese Bobtail cat example. Crouch, Swale (talk) 12:18, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- Why? That seems like an unnecessary explanation of an unnecessary disambiguation. Cabayi (talk) 12:45, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- There are 3 common forms of disambiguation, 1, with brackets, 2, with comma and 3, natural, see WP:ATDAB. We should state all 3 examples. Crouch, Swale (talk) 12:47, 8 February 2019 (UTC)

Why remove "The Fool (1990 British film)" though? It's valid and useful to mention as a variant of the bracket-disambiguated type. --Geolodus (talk) 09:49, 10 February 2019 (UTC)
- Hello Geolodus, thanks for your question. It was a collaborative judgement call whereas considerations like increases in size and undue representation were weighed, and a choice was made. I do not disagree that the other parenthetical example was useful and valid, which could also be said of Los Angeles, California, USA, if we included two comma-separated examples as well, and San Diego Aircraft Carrier Museum. You simply can not include every valid example that otherwise exists. I hope this has answered your question and welcome you to follow on if questions remain. Thanks again.--John Cline (talk) 11:36, 10 February 2019 (UTC)
- Ah, thanks. --Geolodus (talk) 11:43, 10 February 2019 (UTC)
@Crouch, Swale and Cabayi: As it turns out, Category:Redirects from more specific geographic names is a subcategory. We should probably turn that example into a request to use the more specific template in that case. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 11:27, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
- Yes agree, that would cover the Paris example. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:31, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. – Jonesey95 (talk) 19:06, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

Replace [[File:Redirect arrow without text.svg|35px]]
with [[File:Redirect arrow without text.svg|35px|alt=redirects to|link=]]
to add MOS:ALT text and remove the link to the image (the image does not need to be linked as it is PD-ineligible). I don't think many users with screen-readers will see this template, but it's probably still useful to add. --Pokechu22 (talk) 23:27, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
