R-B-S in the commuter line section?

It is part of the WCML so should be mainline surely?

I agree so change it. Simply south 00:06, 14 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wolverhampton and Walsall Railway

edit

I've added the original operating name of this railway to the disused section - the old Midland Railway route from Wolverhampton to Walsall via Wednesfield as confusingly it was known when open as the Walsall - Wolverhampton Line. Unfortunately it's a different animal to the current line of that name, so it doesn't match all the other lines in name. Hope that's OK with everyone! Fingerpuppet 17:12, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Looks good to me. My only concern about v-d-e is that it contravenes Wikipedia:Avoid self-references, but the practice is wide-spread so I don't think it should be a problem. – Tivedshambo (talk) 17:46, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Good point, I'm not sure if there is a way around it, or whether it falls within the exceptions at Wikipedia:Avoid self-references or if its a good case for WP:IAR. I like v-d-e, as you can get at them to edit them and you can "hide" it if you don't want it in the way. Pickle 19:07, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
I see the previous template had an "edit" facility anyway, so you haven't made it worse. Incidentally, I prefer it centre-justified, but that's just my personal view. – Tivedshambo (talk) 19:13, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Ohh right, on that, i think the "v-d-e" or "edit" are vital to make Wikipedia editable by anyone, the whole purpose of this site. On the alignment, I'm somewhat undecided as to what works, but it was left align before so I'm trying not to rock the boat too much. Pickle 23:22, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Nice work - I like the new version. I would say that I prefer the left-aligned version, though. Fingerpuppet 08:52, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
