Are black-on-white chevrons fictional?
editI've never seen black-on-white chevron insignia on Myanmar Navy uniforms. The chevron insignia are the same as the Army. See these photos: [1] [2] နေနီဝန်း (talk) 04:09, 17 July 2022 (UTC)
- Pho Sai skjoldbro. I assume that they are just imaginative creations of Urshankov and Pho Sai. I also found that Pho Sai added a fictional flag claiming to be the former flag (1974-2010) of Myanmar Navy, which never exist, to the article about Myanmar Navy. So, are the insignia samples also reliable? By assuming good faith နေနီဝန်း (talk) 04:19, 17 July 2022 (UTC)
- Also, in the new sets of office uniforms introduced in 2015, the chevron insignia are the same for all three branches. [3] [4] Note that the chevrons on the white office uniform of Navy is the same as that of Army and Air Force. နေနီဝန်း (talk) 15:57, 17 July 2022 (UTC)
- In this photo from website of CinCDS office, you can clearly see this File:Burma-army-OR-6.svg red insignia on the white navy uniform. So, please delete your misleading fictional insignia with db-author @Pho Sai:. နေနီဝန်း (talk) 08:47, 18 July 2022 (UTC)
- @Cdjp1:, @Skjoldbro:. Please come discuss. နေနီဝန်း (talk) 08:59, 18 July 2022 (UTC)
- @နေနီဝန်း: Please note that Canvassing is not allowed. As for this case, if there are Reliable sources for your change, do it. Having images deleted for having the wrong colour, might be overkill. We have to Assume good faith. They might have been wrong, and that is fine. Seeing as there has been no Edit warring and you have provided evidence for your claim, we can consider the case closed, without having to make a big deal out of it.
