This template truly marks a new chapter of Wikipedia's coverage of Sri Lanka and it is only necessary that I accompany such a historic moment with a speech. Thank you to the editors over at Template:US Census population for forming the basis of this template; without them this undertaking would have been impossible. Much thanks also goes to the folks over at the Wikimedia Discord server for being there during the most trying of times during the creation of this template. Special thanks to User:Novem Linguae who sponsored his time for this template. I would like to thank both my parents for supporting me thus far, my mentors, and every Wikipedian who has contributed to the person I am today. I have no regrets along this journey. I hope by the creation of this template a new era—a new age—of Wikipedia, and humanity as a whole, is ushered in. I will end on a quote. Oscar Wilde once said, "Anybody can make history.
