Template talk:Script/Myanmar
Latest comment: 4 years ago by RichardW57 in topic Renaming the template
Text and/or other creative content from this version of Template:Script/Mymr was copied or moved into incubator:Template:Wp/nod/script/Mymr with this edit. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists. |
Renaming the template
editMay I suggest that the tame of this template be changed to "Template:Script/Myanmar" for consistency with other {{{2}}} subtemplates which use full Unicode block names instead of the ISO 15924 four-letter codes? - Malurian123 (talk) 04:30, 30 June 2020 (UTC)
- As a reuser on another Wikipedia, I was thinking that this was one Script/xxx template whose name didn't cry out for localisation! I would also remind that there is a political objection to Myanmar, and 'Burmese' even more strongly brings to mind evil empires. --RichardW57 (talk) 14:08, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
