editI created this navigation box because that is what I do. I am not a weather expert. Please add/change/delete as appropriate.--Old Hoss 21:34, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
One of the alerts are just pretend...
editI don't know if the Flood PDS watch exists. We'll look into that after. 74.12.126.46 (talk) 02:09, 29 April 2011 (UTC) (Thomas)
- It seems to be at least issued once (http://mesonet.agron.iastate.edu/vtec/#2011-O-NEW-KMEG-FF-A-0006 update 5); however, it would be different from other PDS watches, as Flood Watches are issued by the local forecast offices, not the Storm Prediction Center, so there may not be a uniform definition for a PDS Flood Watch. Expansion
editIt is my goal to get most of the products issued by the National Weather Service on here (and as part of that goal, I have been created pages for products that do not yet have pages); however, I do not plan on including the statements for the various products, as they typically are just updates of the initual product. If somebody wants to put something together as a general page that talks about Statements, then that could probably be included as well. Inks.LWC (talk) 07:14, 17 May 2011 (UTC)
- As of now, I do not plan on including Excessive Cold Watch/Warning, since they're still in the experimental phase. If the NWS deciddes to make them official products, then I'll make articles for them and add them to the template as well. Inks.LWC (talk) 07:42, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
I just added the PDS Tornado Warning, even though it's still in the experimental phase, since it was used operationally several times during last night's tornado outbreak. rdfox 76 (talk) 15:07, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
