Template talk:Spaced repetition

I want to add some specific software to the software row - at the moment, it only has a link to a list. --Boy.pockets (talk) 05:43, 16 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed software to be added

edit

Hi. I have developed flashcard software and am requesting that it be added to the List of Flashcard Software. (I notice that for Quizlet, the number of text-to-speech languages is given, but I'm not sure this level of detail is necessary or wanted, so I've given two variants for the upper table with differing levels of information.) Here is the information:

Name License Free version available Spaced repetition Number of sides Supports Unicode Supports image Supports audio Other formats Printable Import-export Supports sync Plugin support
Gridded Proprietary Yes Yes 3 Yes No Yes
Text-to-speech
No Yes Yes No

And in the bottom table,

Hi Goonsliltscap, and thank you for your suggestion. Looking at List of flashcard software, it appears that only software with Wikipedia articles are to be included on that page. Unless your software has received a significant amount of coverage from outside news sources, it is possible that it doesn't qualify to have a standalone Wikipedia article. If that is the case, I'm afraid it cannot be listed on List of flashcard software. Altamel (talk) 07:42, 18 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Adding incremental reading to the list of concepts

edit

Hi, I'm considering adding incremental reading to the list of concepts in this template, for the following reasons:

  • incremental reading is a method of making flashcards out of electronic articles (see the Wikipedia page). Those flashcards will be reviewed with spaced repetition;
  • in incremental reading, articles and their extracts are scheduled with a mix of spaced repetition and prioritization even before flashcards are created [1].

What do you think? TimCha (talk) 12:34, 26 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
