Added the IRFU to the box. Was thinking that the box might be better as an east/west format, rather then a north/south. I'll fool around with some things see what i can do, no changes will be put in the template as a yet. --Boothy443 | trácht ar 06:44, 16 November 2005 (UTC)
- This Template is very poor. It is huge and has only 4 items. Blurring the North/South divide is controversial. Look at Sport in Ireland and see how much this leaves out. Get rid of the icons, add more sports, link to the main article and don't just have a pretty but pretty useless bar. Joestynes 19:37, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
Order
edit- Please leave this box in a to z order as its the fair npov way to add new items (Gnevin 12:58, 25 January 2007 (UTC))
External links
editThe trouble with adding External links in this template is that they are added to every page that uses the template! I think they should be removed. PeterClarke 14:26, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed. I removed them before I saw your note. Guliolopez (talk) 14:29, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Ball games
editWhy make such a random distinction between ball games and all others in this template? --Kwekubo (talk) 17:45, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
Merge discussion
editJust came across this alternative template - {{Sports governing bodies in Ireland}} - which seems to do the same thing. It's newer. Should it be redirected here? Atlas-maker (talk) 06:45, 1 May 2013 (UTC)
