Detailed vs simplified table
editI don’t see an actual mistake anymore, but some names put in "former name" refers to very different times and therefore very different types of "former names". We could put dates in the table instead of separate columns, but it seems more complicated to me.
LauritzT Deepfriedokra : I won’t edit war or continue on this. Therefore I let you deal with it if you feel like it. --Ransouk (talk) 13:21, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
- The consensus seems pretty clear (based on here and Talk:List of universities and higher education institutions in the Paris region), so I've reverted to the '70s/'90s/Current format. @Ragnarvrollo: Please propose changes here instead of editing the page directly. — LauritzT (talk) 13:33, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
- Sorry, I cannot involve myself in this content dispute. Please follow WP:DR processes. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 13:37, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
User:Ransouk My new table was simple and mistake-free. All the former names are included, giving 1970/1990 makes the table complex & wrong. (such as: Paris 1 isn't the name of 1970s) You just ignored my table and put your *own* table again! Then what's the value of this discussion? Please agree to put the new table, as that's mistake-free. Ragnarvrollo (talk) 18:40, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
User:LauritzT As per discussion, I edited the old table & corrected all the errors. But you just posted the former complex table again, then what's the value of this discussion? Ransouk himself admitted he doesn't see any actual mistakes any more in that table. So wasn't my reformed chart better to post? Ragnarvrollo (talk) 18:46, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
- Personally, I'm ok with both versions now. Whatever LauritzT says. Ransouk (talk) 13:43, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
@Ransouk Thank you for being okay with that. Ragnarvrollo (talk) 15:53, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
