Template talk:Tibetan Buddhism sidebar

Colors and width

edit

Please I have changed the colors in the template to make them not as garish and difficult to read and changed to a percentage width so it will render in roughly the same size regardless of the monitor or browser window. If you want to change either of these things, please explain why as I see immediate benefits to them and no immediate deficiencies. -Justin (koavf)TCM06:08, 26 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I like the colors, if the link-colors where different. The default link-colors simply look very difficult to read.--Esteban.barahona (talk) 18:06, 25 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
When we create a relevant page is there a smaller, more subtle template we can use instead if we want to? I feel it really overwhelms some pages. Chris Fynn (talk) 22:29, 18 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

I've been editing the Mandarava entry and trying to get it up to being decent quality. Someone was kind enough to add a side banner to the page for Tibetan Buddhism. It looks great and makes a difference. Thanks for making these available for us.

I have a question though. Underneath the banner header, there are categories with drop down menus that include links to particularly important topics, people, places etc in Tibetan Buddhism. I want to find out where I can go to discuss the content of the drop down menus and discussing adding at least one prominent woman to the Key Figures links in the banner; I'm nominating Yeshe_Tsogyal. Thanks. AD64 (talk) 04:36, 3 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please change the white text to a darker color, so it is possible to read on the yellow background. Expand "Key personalities" and "Teachings" to see what I'm talking about. Suggested color: dark red, the color of the sidebar frame. Thanks. 66.99.217.98 (talk) 14:34, 18 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
