Two forms

It might be an idea to have a parameter allowing the user to specify which form of problem is occuring (1) Reverting to a bad version, or (2) Not reverting at all, but doing it manually and either leaving some vandalism behind, not restoring original material, or both. Of course, it could be both (though if it was the latter, reverting needs to be learned before it is meaningful to complain about reverting to a bad version.
