I have to say Lawrence that you're off on this one. This template isn't in someone's user space. It's a public template and therefore open for editing by anyone. The change I made to it is indeed appropriate as it linked to Don't Ask, Don't Tell. I'm asking you to restore it. -- ALLSTARecho17:44, 5 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Hi, I'm not going to edit war, over it, if you want to restore it. Given all the incredible nastiness I just saw in tracking down diffs and evidence for the Sanchez ANI issue, I may have knee jerked on this one. Lawrence Cohen17:49, 5 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I have reverted it back. Sanchez is indef-blocked, so the template is no longer on his page. It is, however, on the page of another user, and it's inappropriate to use his page to promote your views. Horologium(talk)22:27, 5 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
My, my. So much happens when you spend the day out at the park. This template is nothing special. It is copied off Template:User USAF and Template:User USCG. I do not see any gay references on the other templates. There's also no references to other things that keep people from serving, such as being paraplegic, a foreign national, or a Jehovah's Witness. -- kainaw™23:11, 5 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
