I chose the lone blackboard bold "Q" for two reasons: It suggests the importance of questioning even when answers may not be available; and it plays a pun on the "rational" numbers. The userbox remains greyscale except for the dark chalkboard-green background, meant to suggest the classroom (many students' first exposure to structured rational thinking) and to allow for "light in the darkness" imagery.
