Logo/Image

edit

Can anyone suggest a fair-use logo/image for WUSTL for placement in the upper left-hand corner of this template? I really don't no if there is one, perhaps you could go and look at other university pages and see if they have found something you could duplicate. you're best bet is to create some type of logo using photoshoplike how on the Duke article they use Duke chapel in their template box. Chancellors

There is a page List of Chancellors of Washington University in St. Louis. I have elected not to add it to the WUSTL template. However, it could go under the "history" section. Opinions?

Reverting transclusion on alumni pages

edit

A user editing from the IP 108.54.106.244 (talk · contribs) has and been adding the {{WUSTL}} navbox to many articles related to Washington University in St. Louis. While some of these articles clearly warrant this navbox, the addition of it to articles on persons who's only relation to the university is their studying there seems like overkill. A wikilink in the article and inclusion in Washington University in St. Louis alumni should be sufficient.

WP:BIDIRECTIONAL states (as a rule of thumb) that articles which transclude a given navbox should normally also be included as a link in the navbox so that the navigation is bidirectional, and that likewise, articles linked in the navbox should have the template transcluded. Now, after taking a look at a few other university navboxes, I have replaced the "notable alumni" section with a "notable people" one pointing the corresponding lists of alumni/staff/etc, and am reverting addition of the {{WUSTL}} navbox to alumni pages. benzband (talk) 15:46, 3 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
