Series category

@Michael Aurel: Those templates don't already do this because the parameter is only days old. Linking "a series" to the main category is very common for sidebar templates. See, eg. {{Shinto}}, {{History of China}}, {{Liberalism sidebar}}, {{Judaism}}, {{Yoruba people}}, etc. Until now this wasn't possible with templates based on {{Sidebar person}} due to how it was coded. – Scyrme (talk) 23:25, 12 March 2026 (UTC)

Ah, I see. That's good to know. It does still seem to me that including the category before the link to the main article is lending it undue prominence (and Category:Zeus makes some strange decisions), but I won't stand in your way if you plan on restoring it. If you do, might it be possible to avoid the blue colouring (as the link to the main article appears in black)? – Michael Aurel (talk) 23:25, 14 March 2026 (UTC)

I see what you mean about it being the only thing in blue. It's now been changed to match the rest. The link to the person's (or, in this case, deity's) own article is in larger text and on its own line, so I think it's still given more prominence than "a series". – Scyrme (talk) 18:32, 15 March 2026 (UTC)
