Teymurlu Rural District (Persian: دهستان تيمورلو)[3] is in Gugan District of Azarshahr County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Teymurlu.[4]

Demographics

editAt the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 7,723 in 2,075 households.[5] There were 7,998 inhabitants in 2,502 households at the following census of 2011.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 2,673 in 791 households. The most populous of its three villages was Qaraghil, with 1,723 people.[2]
