Thủy Nguyên is a municipal city (sub-city) of Haiphong, the third largest municipality of Vietnam. It is known as one of the fastest developing districts in Haiphong and Northern Vietnam. The city was established in 2025 from the old Thủy Nguyên district. Thủy Nguyên has many features:
- Nearby Haiphong Port - one of the two biggest ports in Vietnam.
