The Vinyl Institute (VI) is a U.S. industry trade group representing manufacturers of vinyl, vinyl chloride monomer, vinyl additives and modifiers, and vinyl packaging materials. It was established in 1982 and is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia.[citation needed]
